Course Description:
This course guides educators in creating safe and nurturing environments that support children impacted by trauma. Participants will explore the causes and effects of childhood trauma, recognize symptoms across ages birth to five, and examine both the physical and emotional components of a healing environment. Strategies for classroom design, emotional support structures, and sustaining a trauma-sensitive culture will help educators foster spaces where children feel secure, valued, and ready to thrive.
