This course provides an in-depth exploration of how early childhood educators can nurture children's social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development. Participants will learn to base their teaching practices on the latest research and theories of child development, while considering each child's individual needs and cultural background. Through the lenses of age, individuality, and culture, educators will examine milestones across the four learning domains and tailor approaches to each child’s developmental level. The course will also cover 10 effective D.A.P. teaching strategies that promote custom learning approaches for every child. All the information was new and very useful to learn. Got to see new ways to use different methods to improve children’s behavior. Great breathing techniques!
I learned to maintain patience when doing my job. And I’ve also learned that children need room to be children. And it is my responsibility to guide and teach them important ways to be a good person and not just a good student.
